Sesshin means “collecting the mind”. During sesshin, or at any time in our lives turning our full attention to the activity of the moment is to “collect the mind”. Sesshin is an opportunity to allow this mind to express itself in our life. Please take advantage of this opportunity.

Fee: $100.00 for the entire retreat.  While we encourage attendance for the entire retreat, you are welcome to join us for whatever time your schedule permits.  Please bring a sleeping bag / bed roll.  Meals are provided.  Please let us know if you have dietary restrictions.

What is sesshin?

Sesshin is a vital part of a Zen Buddhist's spiritual training. It affords the opportunity for intensive zazen, thus deepening and strengthening one's meditation practice. Everyone is welcome to attend and we encourage your participation regardless of your level of experience in practicing zazen. Although we strongly encourage everyone to attend the entire sesshin, please join us to the fullest extent that your schedule allows.  Please bring sleeping bag / bedroll.

We suggest a donation of $100 for people attending the full sesshin. If you can only attend a portion, then prorate accordingly.
