4 Day Meditation Retreat in Schaumburg, IL

Please join us for a 4 day Zen meditation retreat [sesshin] to be held in Schaumburg, IL.  We will begin on Thursday evening at 7PM and conclude on Sunday at noon.

What is sesshin?

Sesshin is a vital part of a Zen Buddhist's spiritual training. It affords the opportunity for intensive zazen, thus deepening and strengthening one's meditation practice. Everyone is welcome to attend and we encourage your participation regardless of your level of experience in practicing zazen. Although we strongly encourage everyone to attend the entire sesshin, please join us to the fullest extent that your schedule allows.  Please bring sleeping bag / bedroll.

We suggest a donation of $100 for people attending the full sesshin. If you can only attend a portion, then prorate accordingly.
